New London - In the next seven days students may be transformed. Most have never even been on a boat - let alone a tall ship. After just a few hours on the Half Moon - a replica of Henry Hudson’s Dutch ship ‘Exploration’ - these students have gotten more than just their sea legs.

The college has been eagerly anticipating the news. The new four-year bachelors of science program will start in May 2009 and is designed as a “2+2” program, meaning that students will first earn an associate degree and then continue in their studies to earn a bachelor’s degree.

WFSB - Golf Tournament Raises Scholarship Funds →
The nonprofit Goodwin College Foundation hosted its third annual Golf Tournament Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Topstone Golf Course. Funds raised at this year’s tournament will be added to the foundation’s endowed scholarship fund. Scholarships will be awarded to students with financial need to help them complete their studies at Goodwin College
